I agree! Then again, since I dreamed it up I'm a little biased. Thank you! Everyone's got their different strengths, but you never know until you try, bb. I didn't even start trying to make manips until 3 months ago and you improve with every attempt.

I don't see why it annoys the hell out of people about using the actors you prefer when it's your own work either. I completely understand what your saying. It's not like the official cast has to be everyones vision of the characters. The books were around way before a movie was even suggested so, in some ways, it makes more sense to use the favoured originals.

I, for one, am going to watch the movie out of sheer curiosity, nothing more and nothing less. I have my own cast in mind and I will continue to imagine them as I read the books, no matter how many people I offend with it. I think it's everyone's right to choose for themselves wether they use the 'official' cast in their imagination/art or not.

After all, Twilight the movie does not equal Twilight the books.

lol. The answer is very, very carefully. No, not really. First of all in this manip the background image of Tom isn't cut out at all - that's him against the sky, I just used the clone stamp to expand the sky so I could fit Olivia in the picture. As for actually cutting out hair, I just ignore the big fly away hairs. The original of the picture I used of Olivia is here. Her hair was all over the place! If you look at the manip and the picture together, you can see I trimmed down her hair into something more manageable. You're never going to be able to get every stray hair and have the manip look right, so I don't try. Plus, with Twilight it helps that they're inhumanly beautiful so I can make a case that Rosalie's hair would never look that out of control. ;)

I love them both as Emmett and Rosalie! And I'm glad you're sticking to your dream cast. Just because there's a movie, doesn't mean its imperative for the actors chosen to be your idea of what the characters look like. We should all be able to stick to our dream casts without other people getting heir panties in twists.

Precisely. Everyone should do what makes them happy. Why should I be forced to make manips of the movie cast when these things take hours and it would just make me miserable to sit there and work with pictures of Robert and Nikki. It's my art, if you don't like it just turn the other way.

And btw, as a Gaspard Ulliel/Ellen Page fan, I feel your pain with the lack of art of my true dream cast, even though I've warmed up to Emily.

I would definatly prefer this cast above all others. This is a great manip, lovely! I loved this and would like to see them in the movie, but they are aswell in my dreams.

I'm usually an only Edward/Rosalie kind of girl. (I had to make Emmett/Rosalie for a gift for twilight_santa, and at times it was hard to not sneak Edward in there instead.) I need to branch out though, so I'll definitely think about it!
